This application is designed to help children ages 3 through 5 understand epilepsy better, through an easy to follow storyline and child-friendly graphics.
The information on generalized epilepsy (as explained and portrayed in the app) is sourced from the Foundation for Epilepsy.
To use, simply press on any part of the screen to progress to the next scene, while reading the text at the top of each screen. Holding the device in a landscape position is recommended for optimal user experience due to sizing and layout.
To return to the previous screen, press the "back" button, which is a blue arrow.
This version is entirely free, as it is aimed at educating small children.
Lepsys App is approved of by a neurologist, which means that it is an accurate tool for aiding children in their understanding of complicated illnesses.
